We had a really consistent bite this week. From the early am clear to the evening. It was a great week to be on the river. We landed fish on surface flies to deep streamers. With the consistent afternoon winds a good hopper hatch has evolved that the fish are reacting too. There are BWO and PMD in the early to late afternoon each day. I’ve had great success with a #8 purple or red chubby Chernobyl ant with a size 18 PMD split back under it. However we also have been using #20/ 22 BWO, and even earth color San Juan worms. All producing well.
