July 3rd Fishing Report

The bite is still on. With the hot temperatures we have been limiting time on the eater during the heat of the day. With that we have found that the morning bite is a good one to catch. Using size 10 and 12 chubby Chernobyl ants in red yellow and purple with a blue wing nymph, PMD nymph or a balance leech has been super productive. We have also found that purple Frenchies and pardigons in size 18's have been popular. Hoppers are being seen in the water so fish are seeing the naturals which in turn will set the stage for some spectacular takes on surface action. As always respect the canyon and other fisherman.
